It’s been a bit of a crazy week, on Thursday 1st August a very special e-mail appeared in my inbox. It was from Microsoft telling me I’d been awarded an MVP in developer technologies!

If I’m honest, it still hasn’t really sunk in yet and I find myself re-reading it every now and then just to prove to myself it wasn’t a dream. I’m deeply honoured and humbled to be part of such a talented group of community leaders and experts. I’d also be lying if I didn’t say imposter syndrome is running rife at the moment! 😃 But I hope to live up to the award by continuing to contribute and provide value to the community.

I’d like to say a special thank you to both Ed Charbeneau and Tom Morgan. Ed nominated me for the award and I really can’t thank him enough for that. While Tom has given me some fantastic advice and guidance along the way.

Most importantly of all, I would like to say a huge thank you to the Blazor community. I feel very lucky to be involved with such an inspiring and active community that cares so deeply about the technology.

Becoming a MVP is a really exciting step in my career and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
