My book, Blazor in Action - an example-driven guide to building client-side web apps using C# and .NET - is now available to buy via the Manning Early Access Program (MEAP).
At some point over the weekend of 13th and 14th February 2021, the total number of package downloads for Blazored ticked over the 1,000,000 mark. This is just a crazy number and something I'd never considered would happen when I wrote the first package, Blazored LocalStorage, a little over 2 years ago.
Over the past two years, there have been over 50 contributors to the various Blazored repos. And I'd like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone who has ever submitted an issue, raised a PR to fix a bug, add a feature or improve the documentation.
I also want to highlight that three of the repos which make up the Blazored family are maintained by other members of the Blazor community–I've just helped out with some DevOps configuration. Those libraries are:
- Blazored TextEditor - Maintained by Michael Washington
- Blazored Video - Maintained by Mister Magoo
- Blazored FormExtensions - Maintained by Stef Heyenrath
Let me finish by once again saying a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed or used any of the Blazored packages. Working in open source is a lot of hard work and it wouldn't be possible without the help of others.
I will also take this opportunity to highlight that if you like the Blazored packages and want to show your appreciation through sponsorship, then please checkout my GitHub sponsors profile.
Right, that's all for this post, I've got to get back to writing some more chapters of Blazor in Action!
